A woman was fatally shot by “an agitated suspect” aboard a Los Angeles Metro train on Sunday morning, police said.
The victim and the male shooter were in a verbal argument before he shot her several times as the train was stopped at Hollywood/Vine station in Hollywood at about 5:10 a.m., according to the LAPD.
It was unclear what the two were feuding over.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
The suspect fled the train at the station and was still on the loose as of early Monday.
