A British woman throwing a party that defied coronavirus lockdown rules answered the door for police in her nightrobe — but the rest of her getup gave the rager away, video shows.
The unidentified woman was seen on police bodycam footage opening the door in a pink and white robe just after midnight Friday in Birmingham.
“There’s no party here,” she could be heard telling officers.
“Are you sure? Because I’m pretty sure we saw the multicolored lights flashing and then all of a sudden they went off when you realized the police were here,” one cop responded.
Noting that she was dressed to go to sleep, one of the officers then asked her, “Do you always sleep in tights?”
Another then chimed in, “And earrings?”
“And false eyelashes?” one of them said.
Police then entered the home to find 14 people inside, Sky News reported.
Some guests were allowed to exit the property, but three people were arrested in connection to the house party, the outlet reported.
Illegal gatherings during the latest lockdown in the country carry a penalty of between $280 and $14,024.
Currently, no one in England can meet anyone from outside their own household indoors, the BBC reported.
