A California teacher was arrested for an alleged sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl that he met online, a report said.
John William Gunde, 46, who taught at Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo High School in Long Beach, is accused of engaging in a relationship with the teen from last October to December, CBSLA reported, citing police.
Gunde was charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, the report said.
On the high school’s website, Gunde was listed as a social studies teacher, though it’s unclear if he was currently teaching there, according to the report.
It was not immediately clear if the victim was a student where Gunde taught.
