An arrest has been made in a cold case involving a D.C. mother of two who vanished 10 years ago, authorities said.

Isaac Moye, 43, was arrested and charged Saturday with the murder of 24-year-old Unique Harris, who disappeared on Oct. 9, 2010, the Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement.

Harris was in her Southeast D.C. apartment with her two sons, then ages 4 and 5, watching a movie that night. The boys told cops they had gone to bed, and when they woke up, their mother was gone, WTTG reported.

The case remained cold for a decade and Harris’ body has never been found.

In 2018, D.C. Superior Court granted a petition for presumption of death of a missing person before issuing Harris’ death certificate.

Police have not said what led to Moye’s arrest.

However, court records obtained by WTTG say Moye was interviewed several times during the investigation and was wearing a GPS monitor that showed he stayed at Harris’ home overnight when she disappeared.
